2014-UP GM 1500 4WD trucks come from the factory with different types of front suspensions and different length front struts. The two types of front suspensions are: ALUMINUM construction upper and lower control arms STEEL construction upper and lower control arms (as seen on 2007-2014 models)

The different strut lengths available on 2014-UP trucks include both a traditional black version and a Rancho white version. There are two different length Rancho struts in production.
It is imperative that you determine what type of suspension you have and what length struts your truck has.

What to look for to determine the correct ReadyLIFT SST Lift Kit for your 2014 GM1500 4WD truck.
1) Determine the length of your front strut. Do this by measuring your vehicle from the center of the wheel straight up to the bottom of the fender. Do this on the front and rear of the truck with the truck on flat level ground. A 2.5” ride height difference between the front and rear measurements will be a STANDARD length strut. A 1” ride height difference between the front and the rear will be the EXTENDED length strut (found on Z71 Off Road packages and other packages found at random).

2) Look at your vehicle’s upper control arms (UCA). Determine if they are Aluminum or Steel. Vehicles equipped with Aluminum Suspension and 2.5” ride height difference use kit part number: 69-3414 (tubular arm kit) or 69-3444 (uniball arm kit).

Vehicles equipped with Steel Suspension and 2.5” ride height difference use kit part number: 69-3416 (tubular arm kit) or 69-3446 (uniball arm kit).

Vehicles equipped with Aluminum Suspension and 1.0” ride height difference use kit part number: 69-3415 (tubular arm kit) or 69-3445 (uniball arm kit).

Vehicles equipped with Steel Suspension and 1.0” ride height difference use kit part number: 69-3417 (tubular arm kit) or 69-3447 (uniball arm kit).
