Round 9 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA. is best described in one word, Hot. With theĀ scorching heat lasting well into the night, the drivers in all divisions faced a heavily doused course on Friday under the lights. The Pro Lite group offered a good look at off road racing with some challenging course features. There was more than one driver over the weekend that either rolled off the track after turn one or was on the bike after hitting some ruts on the mid-course tight righthand turn. One racer that stood out and was primed to claim yet another podium this season was Kyle Hart.

Kyle finished the blistering round 9 qualifier on the pole and was poised come nightfall for another shot at a trophy. After the green flag dropped, Kyle was able to navigate around Ryan Beat who spun in lap 3, and for the rest of the race Kyle was able to command a solid lock on the 3rd spot. With a considerable cushion behind him, Kyle was able to focus on driving the course and he grabbed the 3rd place trophy behind racers RJ Anderson and Casey Currie. This is Kyle’s 3rd podium this season and should be enough to place him in the 4th spot in points for Pro Lite behind Sheldon Creed, Brian Deegan, and RJ Anderson.
