Bad Habit/ReadyLift Racing Goes Huge in Houston
February 6 :: Houston, TX
Reliant Stadium, home to the Houston Texans NFL football team, was the stage for this past weekend’s Monster Jam event. Saturday started off with a 4 hour pit party where we were able to once again meet a lot of our great fans and answer all their questions. The stadium was very close to sold out with around 60,000 fans in attendance. Huge obstacles and 12 of the best trucks in the country made for a memorable experience for all the fans Saturday night. Racing saw the Readylift Bad Habit go down in the first round unfortunately due to a spark plug wire falling off in a very close race with Blue Thunder. After fixing the problem that hindered our performance in Orlando freestyle and now Houston racing, I was ready to tear the place down in freestyle. Going 15 seconds over the bonus time, the Readylift Bad Habit did just that. With huge air, fast 3-wheeled donuts, and a couple of saves, I scored a 22 which was enough to take the lead for most of the show. Although many other drivers ,as well as myself, felt that the run should have scored higher, I would eventually fall to a 5th place finish in freestyle. None the less, I received a lot of compliments from fans at the 2 hour long autograph session after the show and got a lot of great exposure for our great new sponsor, Readylift Suspension!
