Did You Know That 2015 Ford F150 Trucks Require A New Special Leveling Kit? ReadyLIFT Is The First To Provide A Solution

View Product Here:

ReadyLIFT® Suspension is the first company to address the front suspension changes on the 2015 Ford F150 by engineering a true perfect fit front lift spacer system. The new 66-2215 front leveling/lift kit provides 2.25″ of front lift and features a design developed to provide clearance between the strut and the new aluminum knuckle. Previous generation leveling kits are not the ideal solution to lift the front of the new 2015 F150. Our offset design allows the suspension to cycle without interference. Without this offset design the strut and knuckle will contact at full suspension droop.

The 66-2215 front leveling/lift kit provides exactly 2.25″ of front lift. Why only 2.25 inches? It is simple. Suspension geometry, particularly on 4WD applications, does not allows for taller strut lifts. Truck will sit approximately 0.5″ short of level. Any taller than 2.25″ and the vehicle can run into suspension binding which leads to potential suspension component failures.

Made in U.S.A. – Using the highest grade material available – CNC Machined 6061-T6 billet, our new 2015 F150 offset front leveling/lift kit is the finest quality leveling kit you can install on a new Ford F150.

Do it right the first time! Our engineering team is passionate about providing top quality products that solve technical issues and provide accurate, reliable lift that retains the factory geometry and ride.

The problem:

2015 Ford F150 trucks have a different knuckle which will contact the front strut at droop when using a standard leveling kit.

The solution:

ReadyLIFT® offset 2.25″ front leveling/lift kit adjusts the strut position so that there is no contact between the strut and knuckle at droop. Also provides the maximum lift possible to retain OEM alignment and suspension geometry.

Product Assurance – The 66-2215 kit qualifies for the exclusive ReadyGuard PowerTrain Warranty Program and includes our Limited Lifetime Product Warranty.

I bought my 2015 F150 used, and believe that it has the ReadyLift 2.25″ kit installed on the front. Is there an easy way to confirm this? Should I be able to see the ReadyLift logo with it installed? Is the block itself 2.25″ thick? Thanks for your help!

  2. Level Concern f150 fx4 platinum 2015
    By: Glen Pierce

I recently bought a 3.5 (I believe) rss ready lift kit for my 2015 f-150 fx4. I already had bill stein shocks on the front and nothing in the rear.
Shop put it on and I measure 1 inch lower in the front than the back. I want my truck perfectly level. the shop did not put the washers on the bottom just the top spacers fear that we would have the front higher than the back. my question is should I worry about an inch lower in the front or is there some way to make the truck perfectly level?

    By: Jonathan

Hello. Which way is the offset supposed to move the strut

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

The offset moves the strut inward enough so the control arm can clear the spring.

I just had this leveling kit installed with BFG KO2 285/65R20 tires and aftermarket wheels with +12 offset and am rubbing in reverse. How can I rub when you guys say I can fit up to a 295/65R20 with no rub

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

That would depend on the tire and how much shoulder it has. If the tire is square with aggressive shoulders it can rub slightly in reverse at full turn. If the tire has a radius style of a shoulder it will have more clearance.

I have a 2015 F-150 Supercab and I am wanting it to be leveled the safest way. I don’t like the front rake. Will the 2.25″ leveling kit work on my Supercab the same way it works on a Supercrew or should I go with a 2″ kit? The crew cabs seem to droop more than the supercabs like I have.

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

We haven’t tried the kit on a Super Cab. I believe you will be fine with the 2.25″ leveling for that chassis.

I have a 2015 f150 4×4 super crew 6.5ft bed along with a fiberglass topper. I wish to install one of your leveling kits. I’d like to install the 2.25″ but I do tow a boat witch makes the bed sink by roughly an inch with stock tires on 18 inch rims. I’d rather not have the front of my truck higher than the back with a boat on and I’d rather not install the blocks on my truck that you recommend. Would your 1.5″ leveling kit still have a level appearance with a 1″ drop while towing something? Or will there still be a small rake?

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

Jacob, every truck is just a little bit different but you are asking the right questions. The 1.5″ would be better suited if your end goal is level when towing. Keep in mind the truck will not sit perfectly level when you are not towing though.

    I have a 2015 cc fx4 with the 2.25″ ready lift level. Will 295/65/R20 A/T fit with a 20″ Wheel with +0 offset?

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

It will with a +12 offset.

  8. By: dusty

when the knuckle contacts the strut is there a severe grinding? i had the front lifted and this is happening

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

Your knuckle should not be contacting your strut. If you are experiencing a “grinding” noise that typically is the passenger side hub that is going out, usually caused from lifting your F150 too high in the front.

I have a 2016 Ford F-150 Lariat 2×4. I don’t want to do anything crazy, but I just want to level the truck. Which specific kit do you recommend, and what max tires will fit on the stock 18″ wheels. Thanks.

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

This leveling kit (66-2215) is the only leveling kit we recommend for the new F150s.
Max tire with an 18 is 285/75R18

    2. By: Tom

      Will a 305/65/18 fit?

    3. By: ReadyLIFT

285/75R18 is what we recommend for an 18″ wheel.

  10. By: Joey

On a 2015 f150 4×4 crew, longbox, will the 2.25″ level work for 305/55/20 mickey thompsons on a 20×9 rim 0 offsett? Will there be any rubbing?

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

Yes this leveling kit will allow for that tire size.

  11. By: Mathieu

Hi can you explain me why there is a height difference between 2 x 4 and 4×4 rear blocks that you sell?

  12. By: John Tamasi

Hello I have a 2016 f150 platinum fx4. I want to put larger wider tires for better handling. I don’t want it to high and still want to be able to tow if need to. Would you suggest 2.0 or 2.25 since I might need to tow and don’t want to add a larger rear block. Thinking of 305/55/20 or 295/60/20. Will either tire size work with either level size 2 or 2.25? Thanks

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

You should be fine with the 2.25″ and either of those tire sizes.

  13. By: Scott Norman

Have a 2015 f150 platinum 4×4. Interested in 2.25″ spacer, but would also like to install 1.5″ wheel spacer. I have 20″ rims. Will 35″ tires rub?

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

That is tough to answer. That answer is most likely yes they will rub. The backspacing of the wheel will be the major deciding factor.

  14. By: Bryan Van

What is the largest tire I can use on a 2015 F150 with the stock 20″ rims if I add your 2″ leveling kit?

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

      35″ Maximum tire diameter

35×11.50 for no rub on a 9″ wide wheel with +12 offset

      18″ – 285/75R18

      20″ – 295/65R20

      22″ – 285/55R22

  15. By: Gus

Hi. I have a 4×4 2015 Platinum with the 1.5″ level kit. Could you tell me my max tire size with no rub?
Thanks! Love the stance I have now!

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

      33″ Maximum tire diameter

33×11.50 for no rub on a 9″ wide wheel with +12 offset

      18″ – 295/65R18

      20″ – 285/60R20

      22″ – 285/50R22

Hey. I have a 2015 XLT f150 fx4. Just wondering about the levelling kit. At Ford here in Calgary Canada they have a readylift 2.5 inch levelling kit. From what I see on here the 2.5 is too high. What’s your opinion on the 2.5? Or should I get the 2.25. I want it level. I hate the rate I have now. I see that’s it’s a 0.5 inch rate with the 2.25 kit. What’s the best one to go with? The number for the kit here is 66-2059

Thanks. Hope to hear back from you soon.

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

Hi Chris, the 2.25″ was developed specifically for the 2015-UP F-150s because Ford made a few slight design changes to the suspension and 2.5″ is too much for the new trucks. The truck will sit almost level.
      Thanks.

Just purchased a 2016 f150 with fx4 package if i pût tout 2.25 lift kit with 305/55/20 on 20 j9 wheels what offset shoud i use 12-18-20 to make shure i do mot have any rubbing issues?

  18. By: James

Looking to install you kit with the max 20 inch tires, but if the offset is bigger than +12 would it cause any rubbing? Looking at 20×9 with +18 or +20. Thanks!

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

It is possible it would rub. We can’t say yes or no. It may not depending on your tire. But again we can’t say beyond the max we recommend that we know won’t rub.

  19. By: FX4

I have a 2015 f150 XLT FX4 it has a leveling kit that I believe is 2″ I put 275/60/R20 BF Goodrich all terrains on it with 20×9 rims with an offset -12. The tires rub a bit when reversing. Would changing to your leveling kit fix the rubbing issue?

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

No it will not change it by changing leveling kits. The wheel offset is why they rub. Basically you have to have a wheel that sits into the fender more (less sticking out) than what you have to stop the rubbing.

  20. By: Bill

I have a Ford F150 2WD. I have your 2-1/4″ leveling kit. My question is if I use 305/55/20 tires and aftermarket wheels 9″, would I use the same offset of +12 that you recommend for the max tire size of 295/65/20?

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

It most likely will be fine as the tire height is shorter, but your new width is about a half inch wider.

  21. By: Troy

Have 2015 f150 just had a readylift put on measured from ground to wheel well front was 36.75 back was 40 before. Now it’s 38.5 front 40 in back from ground to wheel well. Was curious if correct haven’t been real happy with service from this dealer so kind of wondering if they pulled a switch on me .

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

It is doubtful the pulled anything on you. When measuring the most common mistake people make is measure from the ground. That is a no-no and gives wrong measurements. Air pressure alone can alter the measurements. You want to measure from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender, after making sure both side tires have the equal amount of air in them.

I have a 2015 f150 fx4 with 2.5 leveling kit and 35 12.50 18s an I have already had the cv issue actually have had both to break would those tires fit with the 2.25 leveling kit?

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

Yep. That is one of the reasons we make our offset 2.25″ leveling kit. 2.5″ and taller is way too high for the 2015 trucks and causes problems like you mentioned.
There are thousands and thousands of our 2.25″ leveling kit out there and we haven’t heard of anyone having your kind of problems – which is why we made it that way 🙂

  23. By: Lucas

    Hello,

I have a 2015 4×4 lariat. I want to level it so it looks better, but I am worried about how much it will raise the overall height of the truck. I cannot fit in many parking structures in LA. Do you have a number on the actual height with the 2.5″ spacer?

    – Lucas

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

Hi Lucas, I can’t tell you how high your truck will be at the roof. If you didn’t change the tires it would sit about 2.5″ higher. If you add larger tires then you will need to divide the difference of your new tires and stock tires and add it to 2.5″.
      Thanks.

  24. By: Tom Griffin

I have a 2015 f150 supercrew 6-1/2′ bed. If I go with your 2-1/4″ level kit up front and your 3″ blocks in the rear, can I use 285/65R20s on stock Ford platinum rims (44 offset) with no rubbing? Are your rear blocks tapered to give propper drives haft angle? Anything need to be done to extend drives haft or drop carrier on 6-1/2′ bed?

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

Hi Tom, those tires should be fine with no rubbing.
The rear blocks have a slight taper. You shouldn’t have any issue with pinion angle vibration.
      Thanks.

  25. By: Forrest

OK so question: If I put a bigger coilover like the Boss adjustable on at 2″ and then put a 2″ rear block in and then put this spacer on to sit the truck level again is that going to cause the CV’s to bind or will everything still work?

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

If the coil over you are adding increases the lift over stock, and then you add a leveling kit on it, yes you will most likely run into CV issues. We do not recommend adding leveling kit spacers onto aftermarket coil overs that lift more than stock.
      thanks.

  26. By: Chris

Just picked up a 2015 Lariat, stumbled across your sight in search for a leveling kit. I like your design but would like to retain a tad more rake. I dont like the look of level trucks because they always appear to be sagging or on the edge of it especially with lightest amount of weight put in the rear. Do you have any photos of stock tire/wheel trucks with your kit installed? I will be putting a shell on back as well so I keep thinking I should be looking for a 1.75 or the likes to retain the rake but pump up the front a tad?? I have talked to several folks that think the same way so I think they would sell well if you made them. Thanks, Chris

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

You will probably want to go with the 3″ rear block if you want rake and plan on adding a shell. There are a few photos on our Instagram account (Readylift) of leveled F150s with stock wheels and tires. I can think of a few not too long ago.
      thanks.

Looking to level my 2015 F150 Lariat 4×4 using your 66-2215 leveling kit. Would there be any rubbing issues if I change my stock tires from LT275/65R18 to LT285/65R18 (a width wider)?

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

You shouldn’t have any issues with that tire. Max for an 18 is a 285/75-18 for no rub on a 9″ wheel with +12 offset.
      Thanks.

  28. By: Scott

With this kit, on a 20*9 rim with a +18 offset combined with your suggested 20″ tire of the 295/65/20, will it have running issues?

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

That is the Max tire we suggest for no rub.

  29. By: Troy

Is their a different rake in reg xlt vs xlt that have the fx4 package? If so will a 66-2215 still work in fx4 and not give it the end drop.

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

You should be safe with the 2.25″ leveling kit on that truck. The FX4 should sit slightly more level than the non- fx4.

  30. By: Pierre

What’s the max tire size I can go with -12 offset wheels with this leveling kit?

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

It depends on the wheel size and brand/type of tire. 33 is no problem. 35 usually isn’t an issue with a non aggressive street type tread with no shoulder cleats.

  31. By: Pat Hendrix

I have a 2015 F150 xlt 4×4 with factor 20″ wheels and tires… I am looking to level the truck. I measured from top of tire to bottom of wheel wells and it measures 1 1/2″ lower in the front. Am I looking at this wrong? I don’t want to put a 2.25 lift and have the front end higher than rear and don’t want to lift the rear anymore than factor. Thanks for your help.

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

Yes, that is wrong. To measure the stance front vs rear you have to measure at the bottom of the pinch seam of the cab at the front fender, and same at the rear in front of the rear fender well. With the 2.25″ leveling kit your truck will not sit nose high. Guaranteed.
      Thanks.

  32. By: Jesse

I’m looking to level my new 2015 F150 FX4. I been told by different off road shops that a 2.50 in lift is too much and will cause a problem with my 4 wheel drive. Similar to a previous post I’ve read here on this blog. Ive also been told that a 2 in spacer is the preferred one to go with. However, your product is a 2.25 in spacer. Will I have the 4×4 problem that I mentioned?

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

No sir, you should not have the CV axle issue that taller leveling kits can cause on the new 2015 Ford F150 trucks. That is exactly why this offset spacer and height was developed by our research team.

  33. By: Monte

Hey ! got a 15 lariat 4 wd with 34 “bfg’s and a 2” level .now that it’s been on for 5k they rub pretty bad ,wondering if the 225 off set lift will take care of my problems ,don’t want to go any higher really..thanks

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

It is possible that it would. There are a lot of variables at play such as wheel backspacing, tire width, have driving conditions caused the front struts to fade causing a decrease in front height. Has your truck been aligned? Faulty alignment can often cause unwanted tire rub.

  34. By: Lee

Just bought 2015 F-150 XLT. And for sure do not like the lower front stance. The dealer tells me it will cost $500.00 for them to do the leveling kit. Just curious… Is this a fair price. Is what they will use ok?? Or should I buy your product and have it installed? If so what would be a fair labor/install cost? A local off road shop quoted $799.00 installed. Any help is appreciated.

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

Our leveling kit for the 2015 F150 is the only correct leveling kit out there. So of course we are recommend it. As far as install, most shops charge between &75-$100 an hour labor and another $75-$100 for alignment which is absolutely necessary. So with the leveling kit plus install/alignment plus tax, you are surely going to be near the $500 mark.

  35. By: Justin

So what is offset about your spacers? No other company’s use the term offset?

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

That is because no other company is has taken the time to develop the correct leveling kit for the 2015 F150. The offset design prevents suspension binding and allows the front suspension to perform properly through the cycle range.

  36. By: new 150

I’m confused then…why is your spacer 2.25″ if you recommend not going higher then 2″. I would still like that little bit of rake as well.
    Thanks.

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

That is the height our R&D team found to be the most lift achievable while preventing axle issues. If you would like more rear rake after installing a leveling kit, our rear block kits are designed just for that purpose. 66-2051 and 66-2053 are what you want to choose between. Thanks.

  37. By: Brian

What would be the biggest tire I can use when installing the offset leveling kit on my 2015 Ford F 150 xl 4×4. Thanks

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

      35″ Maximum tire diameter

35×11.50 for no rub on a 9″ wide wheel with +12 offset

      18″ – 285/75R18, 20″ – 295/65R20, 22″ – 285/55R22

    2. By: todd davis

      Is that using a 2 inch leveler or the recommended 2.25inch. I also have a 16 f150 4×4…..can I use the 2.25inch leveler or do I have to go down to a 2inch? If I have to go to a 2 inch, can I still fit 185 65 20 with a 34.5in diameter?

  38. By: Jason Snow

Hey, with this 66-2215 kit on my 2015 f150 4wd will I be able to fit a 35/12.5R18 tire?

    Thanks

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

We recommend something a tad narrower than 12.50 wide on a 9″ wide wheel with +12 bs.

  39. By: Tony

I am thinking of purchasing a 2015 Lariat 2wd, but want the front and rear height of the 4wd. What would my best option be for both front and rear? Is there a factory difference in the rear between 2wd and 4wd?

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

If you wanted to lift your truck up just a little bit, this leveling kit 66-2215 will do that for a level stance. If you wanted to put a slight rake back in it for towing or hauling, we have two different size rear blocks that would accommodate your needs.
      Thanks.

  40. By: Jace Patterson

I’m still waiting on a reply!

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

Not at this time Jace. There hasn’t been a demand for front lifts that don’t get the truck near or at level stance. If that should change we would create one. You could us our 66-2052 1.5″ kit if you wanted less lift.

    2. By: Tom rosner

I have 2015 f150 and want a lil lift but not completely level. Factory rake is to much. Which kits will work best for me ?

    3. By: ReadyLIFT

It sounds like you want our 1.5″ kit. You will still have about 3/4 of a inch of rake, give or take a little.

  41. By: Jace Patterson

Are there any plans to make lower lift heights on your new offset strut spacer for the 2015 F-150…(ex. 1.5″ or 2″) ?

    Thanks,
    Jace

  42. By: Ralph

I bought a 2 1/2 inch leveling kit on eBay. When the 4×4 is engaged and I hit full throttle, I get a loud popping sound from the left front 4wd actuator. I’ve had to replace it twice. Why am I getting that? I like the look but if it’s going to give me problems, I’d rather take it off. Any research done on this particular one? It’s not as high as I want it but I would like one if this issue goes away. Thanks

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

      Hi Ralph,
On most late model years of F150 we only specify up to 2″ of front leveling lift for 4WD applications for that very reason. It really doesn’t have to do with whose kit you have installed, but rather 2″ is the max lift the front drive suspension can handle. Your situation is a classic example of why. When you hit the throttle the back end sags down and the front lifts up enough to where the cv hub starts grinding. If you want it to stop, remove the 2.5″ lift and install a 2″ and it should resolve your problem. If you have our kit installed you can always lean on our tech team at 877-759-9991
      Thanks.

Getting a 2015 Platiunum in a few days. Want to use your 66-2215 lift on front what do I need for the rear if anything?
    Thanks
    Greg

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

Hi Greg, this kit will give you a near level stance. If you want more lift in the rear, we have rear block kits that can help you with solving that.
      Thanks.

Can I please get a cost on the offset level kit for 2015 f-150

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

      $229.95

  45. By: John

Inquiring about your level kit for my 2015 F150. It is a 2wd XLT Sport. Front height measures at 35.75″ and rear at 38.” On paper, your 2.25″ level would make my truck exactly level, however I am looking for a little rake in the front. Would I get any sag that would drop it down to 2″ lift after it settles?

    Thanks,
    John

    1. By: ReadyLIFT

Hi John, overall you shouldn’t expect to get any front spring sag, definitely not a new truck.
